What Are You Avoiding?

Calling For Money

What task do you find yourself coming up with all sorts of different distractions… to avoid doing?

Like, you think about it, then all of a sudden you have this amazing urge to go get a haircut.  Or order something on Amazon.  Or do the dishes.  Or watch some YouTube videos instead.  Huh?

What is it?

Cuz, I promise you this: whatever it is, that’s the thing that’s holding you back.  Where, if you just sucked it up and did it, you’d gain some serious ground on your goal.

But you don’t, do you?  You keep puttin’ it off and puttin’ it off and puttin’ it off.  And the longer you do, the more committed you become to doing anything but that.

It’s a sad, sick game you’re playing.

And you might think millionaires are just somehow immune to this.  That they’re just action-taking machines.  Wrong.  I play the same game.  The only difference is?  I’m aware that I’m playing it.

And because I’m aware, I can only bullsh*t myself for so long.

Sooner or later, I’m like:

“This is ridiculous.  I need to just go grab a venti Americano, shut everything off, put earplugs in, lock myself in my office, and make this thing my b*tch.”

And so I do.

And next week, there’s another thing I find myself ducking.  And the game continues.

So all’s I’m sayin’ is:

Pay attention.  Where there’s procrastination, there’s profit – but you have to face it head-on.

So:

Make the call.  Ask for the money.  Solve the problem.  Learn the skill.  End the partnership.  Write the ad.  Shoot the video.  Fire the sales guy.  Hire a new social media manager.  Meet with your accountant.  Consult your lawyer.

Whatever it is.
