Instagram influencer Demi Rose Mawby (@DemiRose) was born and raised in a small, quiet town near Birmingham, England. As a kid, she always dreamed of being a model one day. But, as she got older, she thought her short stature (five-feet-two-inches) would prevent her from doing so.
Nevertheless, in high school, Demi began posting pics to MySpace. Thanks to her beautiful bone structure and hourglass figure, she became quite popular. Eventually she took that following over to Instagram. There, Demi’s sexy selfies attracted millions of additional followers in no time.
With some momentum behind her, at the age of 18, she decided to leave London (where she was living at the time) and come to the U.S. on a work visa to become a lingerie and swimsuit model. What does Demi Rose like to do for fun?
“I like spontaneous trips. I went on a random trip to Egypt and Jordan recently,” she said in an interview with PrettyLittleThing. From there, she headed to Tulum, Mexico. Then enjoyed the snow-capped mountains of Colorado. Then bounced over to LA before flying back to the UK.
“I’m an Aries, so I like to keep going. I like to live an adventure. I like meeting new people. The best thing is traveling. It’s my favorite,” she explained. Last year, she went skydiving for the first time and learned how to ski. These experiences (along with a great group of friends) helped her to cope with the loss of her mom and dad, who died, tragically, just seven months apart.
Has Demi Rose had any cosmetic surgery?
While she’s never admitted it publicly, it certainly looks like she’s had her boobs done. And Demi admits she’s had non-surgical liposuction and body contouring. But the rest, she says, is a product of good genetics, healthy eating, and lots of hard work in the gym.
“I don’t eat carbs,” Demi said. “I don’t really eat pasta, bread. I don’t eat dairy. I don’t eat meat. I try to train as much as possible. I’ve had a few different [personal] trainers. I’ve been working with a trainer since 18, just trying to build my body.”
What’s the worst part about having 15.4 million followers on Instagram?
It’s the hate, Demi says. She finally had to mute negative comments and block repeat offenders, or it would ruin her day.
Good news is, for every troll, there’s exponentially more people who post positively below her updates. “I just wanna help and inspire as many people as I can,” Demi explained.
And guys, if you wanna slide into her DMs, that’s cool she says. Just don’t be sly or sneaky. By the way, she prefers “dark hair, dark eyes.” A manly man who “takes charge.”
Her ideal date? Pool bar, cocktails, nice dinner. Just don’t get your hopes up. The competition is stiff and she’s pretty content being single and “working on herself” at the moment.

While Demi no doubt commands a significant fee for photoshoots and appearances, her biggest source of income seems to be her partnership with UK-based fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing. You can see her shouting them out in just about every post she makes on IG.
