Do you? Like, do you sweat the small stuff? Cuz conventional wisdom says not to, right? So are they wrong? You’re damn right they’re wrong. They’re also not millionaires.
You need to notice the nitty gritty, at least in business. And you need to care about it a great deal. Even obsess over it.
A single word in a headline, the caption below a picture, the size of font you use on your website, your posture while pitching, the packaging of your product, how well you anchor your price, the strength of your reason to act now, and hundreds of other “little” things can make all the difference.
Most times, it’s “get off your ass and get to work” you need to hear, but sometimes you gotta “slow down to speed up,” too.
The latter is what I want you to think about, today.
Take plenty of action, sure, but don’t let yourself get too sloppy. If done was always better than perfect, the public at large would all be makin’ seven figures or more a year. And they’re, um, not even close.
So use common sense. Find a balance.
Doing nothing won’t make you millions. But neither will doing everything poorly.
