1) Go for slightly unusual. If you think like everyone else, you’ll create like ’em too. Your offer’ll be no different, no better than your competitors’. On the other hand, they’ve proven what works. So to do the exact opposite? May not be smart, either. Which is why slightly unusual ideas, I believe, are the G-spot.
2) Ideas are birthed by the things you’ve done and learned. So if you live a dull, dumb life, you don’t have much to pull from, do ya? Creativity comes from curiosity, exploration, reading wide, from turning off autopilot and actively approaching each day.
3) If you think you’re onto something, double down. See what that next card is. Don’t let the fear of humiliation or failure stop you halfway. Which is how every umm-it’s-okay business is built. Not yours.
4) Be a doer, not a dreamer. Ideas are important. That’s why I’m writing about ’em. But my God, there’s nothing worse than someone who’s all talk, no walk. Once you’ve got your seven figure idea, I want you struttin’ so hard you wear out the soles of your sneakers. Swoosh.
