If it’s true what they say – that we buy from people we know, like and trust – then it literally pays to be likable, doesn’t it?
So how do you make people like you… without being fake? The only way I know, is to be relatable. And if you’re creating content without letting your audience know who you are and what you’re all about? Well, it’s hard to be relatable, isn’t it?
So share your identity. Like, what characteristics, interests and opinions define you or your brand?
This could be anything. Physical traits. Tall, short. Skinny, fat. Red head. It could be your age. It could be where you grew up. Or where you live now. Or your favorite vacation spot. It could be the series you’re currently binge-watching on Netflix. Your go-to drink. Favorite restaurant. Music, movies, sports. Cars you adore. Stances you take. Left lane drivers are the worst!
You get the idea. Put yourself out there. Let people like you.
