I’m big on: if you wanna be better at business, be better at life. Like, just be a better man or woman and watch what happens.
I don’t know too many passionate, patient, optimistic, grateful, fit, kind, hard-working, loyal, responsible, ethical, level-headed entrepreneurs… who’re struggling to put food on the table. Do you?
Didn’t think so.
So with that said, one of the things I’ve personally been trying to get better at? Is being proud of the words that are coming outta my mouth.
Simply put: I want to speak with integrity.
And to do that, I’ve decided, these nine things gotta go:
- Being negative.
- Making excuses.
- Being narrow-minded.
Join me. You’ll see, right away, how hard it is.
Most casual conversations are the above.
And guess what?
Not only is it petty, pointless dialogue… but it makes you look bad too. And no, you don’t get a pass because Kim and Kyle were the ones who brought it up. You’re all guilty. Even if you just nodded your head and didn’t add to it. That’s like seeing a kid get bullied and not stepping in – pathetic.
You’ve all lost power, trust, respect.
Everyone involved knows you’ll backstab them – or speak in the same, weak way – when they’re not around.
Not cool. Not very millionaire.
So axe these nine no-nos. What you’re left with is words you wouldn’t mind the whole world hearing.
