Tai Lopez Net Worth

Book A Day Tai Lopez

Tai Lopez net worth: Tai Lopez is an internet entrepreneur with a net worth of $49 million dollars.

After dabbling in night clubs and dating sites, he became internet famous with his “here in my garage” YouTube ad.  He’s since spent tens of millions of dollars online promoting various self-help courses and coaching programs.

While no one but Tai and his accountants know his real net worth, most websites are dramatically underestimating how much back-end money this guy makes.

Sources tell us it’s around $2 million per week.  That’s a cool $8 million a month.  Sure the guy’s livin’ lavish.  Yes, he’s got a ton of expenses.  But c’mon.  You bumped your head if you think Tai Lopez is only worth $5 million.

Love him or hate him, Tai’s no dummy.  And he’s hired a team of top advisors to protect and grow all that money.

In addition to doubling down on his online empire, he’s taking some of that profit and investing in land, property, other businesses, as well as stocks.  At this point, Tai Lopez has graduated from Rich and is now getting his masters in Stupid-Rich.

Tai Lopez net worth lessons

Tai Lopez has pocketed tens of millions of dollars (and counting) in a very short amount of time.  And he’s done it all on the internet, using social media channels like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.  What can we learn from Tai?

Attention

It’s the new currency.  The name of the game today is getting people to give a damn.  It’s a crowded place, the internet.  Working hard and publishing lots of free content may not be good enough.  Paid ads don’t guarantee anything, either.

Prospects have to pick you to listen to, over the other 10,563 people who’re saying the same thing.  Tai Lopez saw this and adjusted his marketing accordingly.

When I first discovered him, he was the anti-guru.  I remember telling a friend: “This guy’s such a dork, but I kinda like it.”  Every video was filmed in a dimly-lit library.  The vibe was totally down-to-earth.

Today, it’s the opposite: Lambos, bimbos, guns, awkward celebrity encounters, and one crazy adventure after the next.  It’s like Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, only on YouTube.

And guess what: it works.

So while everyone else is hating and arguing about whether or not the mansion is rented or purchased, I’m taking notes.  I’m asking myself: “What can I do to get more attention?”  And so should you.

Mass appeal

If you want to create a business that makes, say, $1 million annually, you can squeeze that out of almost any niche.  Even if it’s teeny-tiny.  But if you want to do something like $20 million a year?  Or $50 million?  Or, shoot, $100 million?  You’ve gotta go broad.

Consider what Tai’s promoting: the good life.  Health, wealth, love, happiness.  I mean… who doesn’t want that?

He can market to the entire world.  And when you impact millions, you make millions.  So make sure math is on your side.

Risk

It’s true: risk equals reward.  The more you put on the line, the more you stand to gain.  Tai Lopez, holding pocket aces (his edgy lifestyle marketing), went all-in pre-flop.  He showed the entire internet marketing industry what’s possible when you’re willing to push the envelope.

I’ve been online for a decade and never seen anything like it.  He’s inspired me to think bigger and go harder with paid advertising.

Consistency

There’s marketers like Tai Lopez, Gary Vaynerchuk, Grant Cardone; and then there’s everyone else.  Those guys found a gear nobody else has.  A whole new level of hustle.

With Tai, it’s a 24/7 all-you-can-eat buffet of “infotainment.”

And when you blanket the web every hour of the day?  And your stuff’s legit?  You win.  Tai Lopez isn’t just out-marketing his competitors; he’s so far ahead, they’re irrelevant.

Thick skin

There’s one major downside to Tai Lopez’s business: negativity.  You can’t spend a small fortune on ads and force-feed your message to millions of people without trolls, cynics, skeptics, psychos, and at least three hoodrat hoochie mommas coming out of the woodwork.

You know what I’m talking about:

High schoolers talking tough under YouTube videos; thumb thugs mouthing off via anonymous Twitter handles; stalkers showing up at the crib; affiliates ranking for “Tai Lopez scam,” only to say, “Just kidding, but please click my link and buy something”; conspiracy theories; and everything in between.

It’s not fair, but it comes with the territory.  I give Tai props.

If I had to read that sh*t every day?  I’d probably cry myself to sleep at night.  And snack on Zoloft like it was trail mix.  And spend way too much time fighting with idiots who’ve got nothing better to do.

Study anyone at the top of their game, be it Tai Lopez in social media or Kanye West in music or whoever else, and you’ll see this recurring theme: the bigger the name, the more they’re worth, the more haters they have.

In fact, I’d say the most powerful public figures seem to have 70% of the general public hate their guts; 20% who love ’em to death; and 10% who’re indifferent.  Think Kardashians.  Or the current POTUS.

So what do you value more: being liked or being rich?  Because, as most millionaires will tell ya, it’s damn-hard to have both.

Tai Lopez handles adversity like a champ.  Model that.  Even if you don’t have a big following yet.  To quote the man himself, “Prepare for hard times when it’s easy.”  As in, toughen up today because you might need it tomorrow.

I’m pretty sure that’s one of the 67 Steps.  So there ya go.
